Polynesian Tower Ugly Green Couch

I toured the new Polynesian tower over the weekend and it is awesome....except for one item.....the very ugly green couch.

Seriously, this is an amazing resort that is 99.99% perfect and I deduct 0.001% for the ugly green couch.

Does anyone actually like this color?

Glad you posted this! I’ve been thinking the same… it is so ugly! Reminds me of the coach we have in our spare room ready to go to the tip…

Beige (or brown) would make it look like the dreariness of AKL.
I think the green matches the garishness of the overhead painting

Seems like it is on-theme and doesn't bother me too much. I wouldn't have it in my home, but wouldn't mind it in my hotel room for a week.

I like it, stops the room being too millennial beige/grey.

We toured in October. It caught my eye immediately...not a choice for our home but fine for the Tower Villas!

I feel like it's picking up that 70's vibe, and it's a shout out to the original colors in the Polynesian hotel rooms. My family has some pictures of us standing in front of lime/ white combo patio curtains, and I'm pretty sure the carpeting was an interesting color, too. Probably burnt orange or more green shag.

I think it suits the use perfectly. Like others say, I wouldn't have it in my living room but love it at the Poly.

Couldn’t agree more, when I 1st saw it in the model my first comment to the guide was “ Ring Ring, the 60’s is calling , they want their couch back!.

Never gave it a thought. Would be roughly #347 on my list of things I would care about. I love the look of the rooms overall and it seems to fit the theme. But what do I know?
