Hi-I have breakfast reservations at Ohana on a Friday at 7:30 am., and plan to go to Magic Kingdom immediately after. My wife had back surgery a year ago, so I want to minimize the walk. Should I park at the TTC and take monorail to polynesian, then monorail back to TTc? anyone know an easy way?

Parking at the TTC early is really not that bad, and if you end up parking pretty far out, there are trams from the parking lot. The actual ramp to the monorail can be fairly steep however. The Polynesian will be the next stop.

The walk from the monorail stop at the Polynesian to Ohana is not bad at all. The bigger issue at Ohana may be adequate seating before you are called for your reservation. You may have trouble snagging one of the chairs.

Once you get to MK, the walk from the monorail isn't bad, and its downhill. At the end of the day, you can choose to take the ferry or the monorail back to the TTC. The ferry will allow you to avoid the steep incline to the monorail station at the MK.

You could also park at the Polynesian for breakfast and then re-park at the TTC after breakfast. The Poly parking lot is pretty convenient, but you will give up parking close at the TTC. If you do park at the Poly, take the elevator to the 2nd floor.

Have you considered getting an ECV? Frankly, if you are worried about your wife getting to the monorail station from the parking lot, you should be very worried about her walking 3-5 miles or more once she gets in the MK.

Why not drop her off at the Poly, then you go park the car at TTC and walk (about 5 min) or monorail yourself to Poly?

This is what I'd do. It's a quick little walk from TTC to Poly - just follow the path. After breakfast, you all can take the monorail directly from Poly to MK, you don't need to go back to TTC.

You could also let the valets park your car at the Poly, then monorail or boat to MK, and monorail or boat back to Poly at the end of the day. If you're staying off site, the cost of valet parking + tip is within a few $ of the regular theme park daily parking fee (free if you have a disabled parking permit.)

I don't know this firsthand, but others have said here that it's OK to leave your car at a resort all day if you are using valet parking.

That way you'll be right at the door to the Poly -- no walking at all. Taking the boat to MK & back would avoid having to descend & climb the ramps at the MK monorail. There is a step down into the boat, but it's about the same as stepping into the boats at POTC or LWTL @ Epcot.

I have checked with several resorts, as well as their valet people...all have said that as long as there is plenty of room in the valet lot, you are welcome to valet your car and then head anywhere. Doing this doesn't allow the guest to circumvent the parking fee at the parks, and it doesn't negatively impact the resort guests by taking up the self service parking spots they use.

I would drop her off at the Polynesian and then either pay to valet park there, or return to the TTC and park and then head back over to the Polynesian. You can easily take the boat from the Polynesian to the MK then.

we'll be renting a wheelchair to use for the parks. was really just looking for easiest, quickest way to go between the two places. thank you, though
