Polynesian Summer

YAY for the Wishes Dessert Party!! I loved it when I went!! You are going to have a blast!!

YAY for 1 week until Disney!!!

You might want to plan a different night to see the parade....maybe. When we went in June we were in the dessert part while the parade was going on. The party starts an hour before the fireworks start and that was the same time as the parade.

But the desserts - mmm, little shot glasses of cheesecake, fruit tarts, chocolate covered strawberries, cookies, brownies, watermelon, tiramisu, creme brule, rice krispie treats.......yum!

Great clothes (as always).

Love the clothes! I just went on a little shopping trip for clothes for my trip. It's so much fun to shop for Disney!

Very exciting about the dessert party! I haven't been but have read about it in lots of TR and is sounds (and looks) so delicious! Thinking about trying one out on our Sept. trip...

Oh, what pretty clothes!! I'll be hoping for some killer SPRING sales, since our trip is the end of June.

BTW, congrats on the Dessert party.....

Pshh, I don't think about outfits til the day before we leave

I love love love the skirt you're considering for Chef Mickey's. It's so bright and cheerful and looks like abstract flowers or something! I know you don't take many pics from the front because you don't show your face, but can you take some anyway and put a smiley? I think it'd be great to see the entire outfit front AND back! You coordinate outfits so well. Haha, I wore Old Navy tanks pretty much every day during our trip in April.

And I agree with cute socks being such a joy in life! Haha. I got really excited about my striped socks that I took pics of them on the drive down to Florida and wrote about them.

Great outfits! I leave for Disney in 65 days and I've had my outfits planned out for quite some time. However, my birthday was last month, so now I have new clothes to choose from. Once we get a bit closer, I will have a definate outfit plan in place. :goodvibes I love matching my outfits to the park/restaurant we'll be at!

I really like your clothes! So cute! You will be a fashionista for sure. I wish I had that kind of style. But I'm from Minnesota, and comfort has always trumped style. I have planned in the past to wear certain t-shirts to certain parks or restaurants, but this trip it's going to be all about staying cool, so a lot of light colors and tanks.
Now I know who to look for - the best dressed one around!
I still haven't officially decided what I'm bringing except for swimsuits and shoes!! Really need to get going on that, eh?

Oh - make sure that you check the parade schedule - I saw today that they added some at 11:00 on a couple nights, maybe that would work for you if you all can stay up late.

Oh girl!!! LOVE your outfits!!! And of course, who can beat a good sale?! I love getting new socks too...I forget about it, then when I get new ones, I think...why have I waited so long? I, like Sheree, have to go for comfort...we are in Texas and it's just down right miserable here sometimes. Ok...usually, most of the time! In the winter, a jacket is usually all you need....so we can't do those cute little layered outfits....we would roast and die!!!! I have thought about just looking for at least some cute shirts here and there to save for our Nov trip...but I am not sure. Got dd some cute Minnie and Mickey stuff put away...will get some for the Boys...me and dad just pack what we have!!!!!!

Hello Emma! My name is Brooke, and I'm joining along for the ride!! :)

Hey, Emma!

Don't know if you remember me or not, I took a looooooong vacation from the DIS because of RL stuff (school and work and such), but anyways, I was a regular reader of your Snobbish TRs. I think I left off with your Cruise adventure. So excited to see that you're headed for the Poly this month!!! :cool1: I'm gonna run back and catch up on everything I missed. Disneyland Paris? School in Ireland? You lucky girl! :cloud9:

You're staying at Pop, AKL, AND the Poly? Only my three fav resorts!!! I'm so jealous now! :rotfl: PLUS the YC where I've never stayed. So exciting! (I think you were a reader of my TR that I never finished, the one about my surprise birthday stay? The one where I was told we would be staying at CBR due to costs? Well, my mom and aunt surprised me with a week at the POLY!!!! :woohoo::cool1::woohoo: It was AWESOME!!!! Can't wait to hear about more Snobbish adventures there! :wizard:)

LTT's Ooey Gooey Cake is AM-A-ZING. We always have lunch there, usually on our last day. The Colony Salad is sooooooo good!!!

LOVE your outfits so far. So cute. I can't wait to see you in them, even if we won't get to see your face. :thumbsup2

And a new mascot? WHAT? No AG doll? I'm both disappointed and intrigued. What could this new mascot possibly be? Hmmmm.....

Can't wait for more!!! :thumbsup2

Oh disney in a week so lucky!
Also have noted down get gooey toffee cake in LTT and I'm off now to look up wishes dessert party!

Cute clothing choices! :thumbsup2 I love all the fun skirts. I love tha tthe clothes are coordinated for the restaurant or park. I always try to think of that when possible. If not for me, at least for my daughter! Disney shopping is so much fun!

Have a great trip Emma! I'll keep an eye out for you and Cocoa (I had a suspicion your new mascot might be an AG pet!) next week.
Safe travels!
