Love the concept of the Running of the Strollers. Rope drop is more dangerous than the Running of the Bulls. (Is that in Spain??)

I love that picture of Alice in the tea cup. That is perfect. I have never seen the characters on the rides before. What a great start to the day. 4 rides before 9am. That's pretty darn great!

So, how is Fantasyland?

I'm afraid to go while it is under construction. I am afraid that during construction, and afterwards, it will be unrecognizable. I am just afraid that it won't be how I remember from the mid 70s as a small child. (And I couldn't bear It's a Small World being closed.)

I was just talking to a friend and had the sudden realization that everyone didn't feel like I do. I could spend all day just in Fantasyland. She has barely noticed the Fantasyland construction because she and her young daughter love Epcot.

I realized that, more than my need to know what it looks like, I need to know how Fantasyland feels with the construction. I think that you can convey that.

I just read this TR and your Paris TR lovestruc) over the past few weeks and have of course absolutely adored every update.
I've never managed to read your TRs as you're updating them though so when I realized you were still writing this one I just had to comment for once!

I have never made it to RD at Mk before and always wanted to see the opening show. We always seem to miss it but 10-15 minutes. We've done the RD at DHS a few times and that run for TSM is crazy enough! However, we usually split up a bit so that DH can make the mad dash and I just follow at a slower pace with the stroller. Otherwise, I am sure there would be ankles clipped because I don't have the best "driving" skills with the stroller.

Love the pic of Alice and the White Rabbit in the tea cups. I cannot even imagine how exciting it is for a little child to be picked to go on a ride with a character. That would make a trip!

Just one more reason why I tend to avoid rope drops lol. They look fun, but maybe just a bit too crazy for me

Invariably when we ride PotC there is this peg leg pirate who steps in yellow paint and gets off the ride right before us – it’s so strange...

funny, that same pirate always rides right before us too! we've tried catching up with him in the exit queue but him &his peg leg can travel awfully fast!
