Much to my surprise, I just noticed this morning that one of the shirts I bought for DH while we were in Bou-Tiki a couple of weeks ago was actually MADE IN HAWAII!! :sunny: How cool is that?? LOL (this particular one is not a Tommy Bahama shirt). It's the outer shirt in this picture:

I didn't bother to check the label when I bought it because it really didn't matter where it was made, or who made it, but now that I see that it was made in Hawaii, I think that's pretty neat and wanted to let everyone know about it. They had other shirts in a similar style there too :flower:

P.S. Now I see why it cost how much it did ;) :earboy2:

P.P.S. Just checked the label, and in case anyone is wondering, the brand is "Styled by RJC Ltd."

There were also dresses there that were made in Hawaii. They were really cute.

I bought that same shirt for DS2 for Christmas.

Tommy Bahama stuff really only occupied one section of the store. :sunny:

And how about that oversized Polynesian mug. I've had one from GF for several years and was glad to see a Polynesian one this past trip.

Or the periwinkle sleeveless shirt and cropped pants set with the Polynesian logo. Not my style but it was cute. It had a jacket too I think.

I am drinking french vanilla coffee out of my oversized (ceramic) Polynesian mug, as I type! :teeth: I love my GF one, so this past summer I bought one at the Wilderness Lodge (very, very cool mug!) and the Polynesian. I like the information about the resorts on the bottom of the mugs :)

I really liked the color of the periwinkle ladies clothing items, but the logo aspect of them just didn't appeal to me at all. I think it was a whole set, I saw capri-length sweat pants, zip up hooded jacket, tank top, and round-neck pull over top. I like the style well enough, and would've bought some of these items had the logo been nicer.

OMG, I am drinking my coffee out of my Polynesian mug too! Dh and I race to see who will get this cup every day. LOL

I bought my dd some logo tshirts with Stitch that are nice, and I bought myself a white tank with the periwinkle Polynesian logo--and also the same style tshirt...however, I am with you, I would have preferred a higher quality logo like embroidery. I really love embroidered logos. I did buy the Polynesian beach towel with the Polynesian logo and some Brady Bunch looking flowers embroidered on it. I thought it was funny to see they are embracing their "Brady Bunch" 70s look by putting funky 70s flowers on some things like the towel and another coffee mug we bought. It's tall, not oversized and so far neither of us uses it. Oh wait, I did use it a couple times because it fits well in the car drink holders.

My GF mug doesn't have any info on the resort although it is a more detailed mug for the most part. But it is maybe 3 years old now?

I miss the hoodies that both the Polynesian and GF carried for a couple of years. They were white cotton...almost terry cloth but not quite. The logo was embroidered in navy for the GF and red for the Polynesian. I purchased a Polynesian one for our now DIL and always meant to pick up one for myself. I do have the GF one but it is starting to show its age. I hope they bring those back although I suppose the odds of that are slim to none.

Oh, and my mug for my tea this am is my DVC one. I also use the widflower mugs sold in the tea shop in Epcot. A little reminder of WDW every morning. :sunny:
