Just wondering if, pre-covid, anyone ever heard rumors of the Poly eventually adding more room options. I of course understand that covid has upended many plans, so not looking for doom and gloom commentary. Thanks for helping me briefly escape to the South Pacific by way of the Florida swamp. 🌴

Like what options?

If you mean 1 or 2 bedroom, no, I have never heard they would be expanding there.

I have a Deluxe suite standard view booked for early March, if I have given an option what building/location would you suggest?

If they "add options" it will be within a new association.

And they have to figure out where to put a third pool if they add a tower where Playhouse used to be. Poly's pools are inadequate to current guest occupancy.

There are no DVC “suites” at Poly. Just studios and the 2BR bungalows. Are you referring to the hotel side?

The 3 DVC building are Morea, Tokelau and Pago Pago. Of the 3, Pago Pago has the possibility of getting a parking lot view. Morea is the closest to the TTC. But Tokelau is the most centrally located. The rooms on Tokelau’s north end have a sideways view of the lake and some of those on the west side have partial views of the castle and fireworks. Ask for an upper floor. Rooms 2914 and 3914 have the best views.

Yes on the room location! We were in Tokelau 2911 last year. View of the pool, water, and sunset over Grand Floridian!

The original plans had new buildings and 1 & 2 BR options but since this was abandoned, I haven't heard anything of possibly adding 1 & 2 BR's there.

Thanks for the replies. I think I must have caught wind of this on a thread talking about the original plans. We stayed in a studio last summer and loved it, but I would only consider buying at the Poly if there were 1 or 2 bedroom options.
