I requested Lagoon view, but really want a newly renovated room. The renovations that will be finished will be mostly the garden view building.

Somoa-all garden view
Rarotonga-all garden view
Tokelau-garden view and Lagoon view?
Aotereau - Lagoon view but far from everything.

What building would you suggest I request or would you change the reservations to garden view?

We requested Samoa for our trip because the location is perfect!

We stayed in Samoa and loved it. We aren't ones to pay extra for a view and I don't think there are any bad views at the Poly, so GV is good for us. With that said, if you do switch to GV, I think Samoa would be a great request. Samoa is convenient to everything as it's just steps from the GCH, volcano pool, the beach, and Captain Cooks :).

We requested, and got, Samoa ground floor for our last trip in August. The location can't be beat! Steps from either pool, the Grand Ceremonial House, and the beach.

We had a wonderful garden view room in Niue. It was perfect. I would choose Samoa on your list. Samoa is right by Niue, steps from the pool. Very close to Captain Cooks and the GCH. The garden views are wonderfully landscaped. We had no regrets of not booking a lagoon or TPV room.

Thanks for asking this question - I was about to post a similar question. We are booked for the fall at a different resort but thinking of changing to the Poly this time. Since we've only ever been there to eat at Ohana, wasn't sure of the layouts and the responses have answered my questions. :) Have a great trip!
