Polynesian Resort Question

Good Morning all. Thinking about staying at the Polynesian for the first time and I have a few questions:

How difficult is it to get back at night on the monorail from MK and Epcot?

There are lines, as there are for any form of transport. The monorail will be standing room, and you'll have challenges with a stroller.

Difficult in what way? From the MK you just board at the MK monorail station and get off at the Poly station. It's about a 5-10 minute trip once you board.

From Epcot, you board at the Epcot monorail station at the front of the park, get off at the Ticket and Transportation Center (TTC), then walk across to the resort monorail boarding station. Total time, maybe 15-20 minutes?

Not difficult at all. Assuming normal monorail operations and outside of peak rushes like after Wishes or Illuminations, I've always been able to catch the next available monorail with minimal wait either from MK or Epcot.

Actually flexible transportation options is one of the best attributes of staying at Poly. If you're leaving the MK and don't like the look of the line on the Resort monorail line, just hop on the boat (which is shared with GF). If you don't like the boat line but the monorail line is shorter, do that instead. I like having options depending on the time of day, temperature, and crowds.

Separately, walkability from Poly to the TTC (where you catch the Epcot line) is truly an underrated amenity. We spend a lot of time at Epcot and very much appreciate that aspect of staying at Poly.

I believe you can also take the ferry boat which is much bigger than the Poly/GF boat straight to the TTC and walk to the Poly.

We did PM EMH at Epcot one night and the monorail wasn't running when we wanted to head back to the Poly. We waited a bit for a bus. Beware of monorail closures.

That walk up the ramp to the monorail after a 12 hour day at EP is the worst...but the monorail is convenient. Just walk from the TTC. If it's not running take a bus.
