I just want the Grand Floridian pin out and buyable! LOL. The GF is like our second home and it would certainly brighten up my day to see the pin in the Emporium!

I think it was the Grand Californian. But I could be totally wrong. yea...old age...that's it...hehe!

The other pin released was the Paradise Pier Hotel. It was the Grand Californian that you could get only from staff.

The last few posts have been correct. The Grand Californian has been relased. I am the ONLY non staff person to have ever had the Grand Floridian pin, but i had to give it back. I dont understand the re-release of a resort pin that was on sale less then 2 months ago. What does the pin description say?

I think they did not have the Grand Floridian. They had the winnable-only Grand Californian. The other buyable was Paradise Pier.

How Wrong/Right you are. The Grand Floridian pin never OFFICIALLY came out. However I happened to "come across" it. I was asked to return it, and i did. To this day, i am the only non Staff to have this pin. Oh YEAH!!

I just went to shop at Emporium and when I clicked on specials VMK froze up and is still sitting there with an hour glass.
Maybe they are making changes now

Well - just my opinion, if you look at the newsletter there are five pins. In those five pins, while it says "new" you see the Poly, so I doubt it will be removed today. In addition, based on the January pin experience, there are 5 pins, but only four will be buyable. So I bet, the will still only give the Grand California pin out in staff events.

Now that I have read here that the Grand Floridian is in the staff events, it makes sense they put that one out. We have to buy an "equivalent" pin to trade for the one we want if we ever get in the room!

I don't mind a re-release of stuff, but the home page says:

"Round 2, all new pins!
This weekend (Friday - Sunday) we unveil the first in a new series of Hotel pins"

But how can a re-release be the FIRST in a NEW series of Hotel pins?

I've tried twice to get in and trade, it's DC city in there.

I find this odd that you say that, because I have seen multiple people with that pin, and just now, 10 seconds ago, saw someone with it on VMK. I have a friend who won one as well. So... ????
