Polynesian Resort - HELP!!!

I am staying in a Gardenview room at the Poly and wanted to be able to stay in the building closest to me "wishes" and wanted some advise from our great audience out there. My husband and I do not want to be too close to the monorail and looking for some peace and quiet and want to feel like were really somewhere in the islands. I wanted to be close to a pool and not too far from the MCHouse or the TTC....(we don't mind walking either), and last but not least a building that is not too old w/ renovations. Any suggestions about which one to request? I heard Raratonga was a good choice.......

I would suggest Tokelau. Its right between the TTC and the GCH. Not too far to walk to either.
It is right by a pool, which is usually pretty quiet.
Some of the rooms have a view of the lagoon, even ones that aren't facing the lagoon, have a great view.
I was there last May, and am going back in December, this is the building I like to request.

Tokelau room 2912 was on second floor and has a balcony and view of the lagoon it's a garden view room. I just stayed there and loved it.
Not far from the CMH. and quite pool.

We also enjoy the Tokelau building, also a non smoking building if that matters.
