Polynesian resort & concierge review **PICS ADDED - PAGE 3**

I had 8 nights booked at the BC.August 12th-20th. I've always wanted to stay at the poly and your thread has put me over the edge..I just changed to 4 nights Poly.4 nights BC...Yay!

That is really cool!! IMO, that is an example the Magic of these boards

WOW! Terry, those are fantastic pictures!!! We have stayed in concierge several times (headed back in Oct) and those pictures really made me do the Polynesian Pout too! (Tess, I have always loved your photo, and miss it! We plan to make our own version in Oct, lol)

I've had more comments about the "Polynesian Pout" picture (people at the resort actually recognized us from the photo). . .here's our 2005 version. . .we were much sadder this year. . .it was an absolutely spectacular vacation!

I love those pictures, they really sum up how you feel as you're leaving the Polynesian.

We got recognised at the Polynesian by the picture in my signature too. lol

Can't forget the night that DS14 went to take a shower and walked right back out and announced that a salamander was already IN the shower. LOL Being the good DIS board reporter that I am, I just had to go in and snap a few pics of the cute little fellow before DH captured him and released him outside:

terry, i remember your posts with questions about the concierge at the poly awhile back. we were going in April for my husband's 30th birthday staying at the poly (and concierge) for the first time ever! the neat thing is that we stayed in the same exact room! it had an amazing view. loved watching the castle change colors at night.

Seaspray I love your pictures. I was there 6 months ago and the view from Hawaii is fantastic. I never ate my chocolate postcard, it's on my dresser LOL. I loved the wedding shots you got, I recognized my violinist in them!

Thank your DH for me for taking such care to rescue the salamander and release it outside. He's my kind of guy!

It's amazing to see how much your DSs have changed, even since that wonderful family photo of all of you from your cruise that appears in all of your posts.

It's great to see that all your planning turned out so well, especially the golden mouse ears and that incredible cake! It's good to hear that it tastes as good as it looks. Yum!

WOW, I don't know what else to say. Your pictures are SPECTACULAR!!!! I love the picture of the Contemporary through the trees from your room, that is gorgeous. I also love the gold Mickey ears and the cake looks delicious. You have a beautiful family, your sons got so big, they're real cuties!
What resort did you like better, WL or Polynesian? How did they compare to your previous stays at WDW?

D&R: We are south of Boston, near Bridgewater

Patio: We loved both resorts, they are very different, but if I had choose only one I'd say the Polynesian. We really liked CBR and the GF, but we like the Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge better than those two. I would stay again at any of them, but first and second choices would be Polynesian and Wilderness Lodge.

Seaspray ~ Thanks so much for your detailed reports and wonderful pictures! I started reading the disboards a few months ago when you were in your full-planning mode and you had some concerns about concierge. I'm so glad that those concerns were unfounded and that you had a wonderful time!

We just started our double digit dance a few days ago. We'll be staying POLY LVC 10/23 through 10/31. Can't wait!

Your pictures were so lovely. The resort looks awesome. I could not afford to stay in such a nice reosrt at this point in my lofe...I'm still young and alot of school loans. Anyways i feel like i've had a mini vavcation while enjoying your picts. I'm staying in POFQ in oct, i hope i too have some lovely picts. Thanks for sharing.

I would love to write more right now,but I am at the hospital right now with my wife. She is 6 months pregnant and fainted this morning at home.
