Polynesian questions

1. If you are booked on points then it depends on how long you are staying. For stays 7 days or less you will receive Trash and Towel Service on day 4. Towels will be replaced, trash removed and toiletries replenished.

But if you are booked on Cash thru CRO then you will receive daily housekeeping.

2. There are towels at the pool.

7. There no longer is bus transportation from TTC to any parks. For AKV and DHS you need to get the bus at the Poly bus stop. For MK and Epcot you we always do as you wrote - walk over to TTC and catch either the express monorail or ferry to MK or the Epcot monorail to Epcot.
Ok so then here is my other questions to you guys. I understand what you are saying about the cleaning schedule, but then when I looked at the site it says this about people who are renting dvc so do I get trash and towels everyday then?
Also, we are getting in early. Our plan is to go straight to MK after checking in so can guest services hold our carry ons for us? We have a stroller, 2 small suitcases, and a diaper bag that need stored. I'm worried about this as I don't think our room would be ready

I can see how that might be confusing the way it is worded but I believe when they refer to rental guests they mean those who have "rented" (i.e. Booked) a cash room from Disney directly rather than using points. When a non member rents a room from a DVC member the DVC member is using their membership to book the room. The drastic discount DVC get on the room using points vs booking directly from Disney is partly due to the reduced housekeeping costs. This way those who prefer extra cleaning can pay and those who don't mind can save money. If they started cleaning every villa every day our maintenance fees would rise significantly to cover those costs. THen presumably the cost to rent from a DVC member would as well as they'd want to pass on the increased costs to renters

YEs bell services will hold any luggage you have until the room is ready

If the stay is paid for with points or booked for cash through Member Services, the housekeeping is done according to the DVC schedule.

Cash stays booked any other way receive daily housekeeping.

That terminology is not good. They are referring to "rentals" thru CRO - but what it means is booking a cash hotel room directly thru Disney hotel system.

"Rental" from an owner follows the points stay schedule.

We saw the monorail up and running atbtge GF last week by 7:30.. It's an easy easy walk between the GF and the Polynesian.

I think you have most of your questions answered except for the time of the Electrical Water Pageant which starts at 9:00. https://disneyworld.disney.go.com/entertainment/magic-kingdom/electrical-water-pageant/ This is the same show that I saw at the Poly over 30+ years ago with my family and I hope that it sticks around! I agree that this is a must do if staying at the Poly and from the beach you can also see Happily Ever After which may even be at the same time.
