Polynesian or Contemporary During the Holidays??

We've stayed at the Contemporary before and loved it. However, I'm wondering if we should stay at the Polynesian for our next trip (December 2013).

Honestly, I REALLY want to stay at the AoA because it looks so fun and the kids would go gaga over the themes - but DH likes the close proximity to MK. Ah well...

Is the Polynesian festively decked out at Christmas time? What are some of the features that kids would enjoy? (7 and 2.5 yr old)

We've never stayed at the CR, but we love the Poly . With that said, during the holidays, our favorite resort is the WL. The lobby is very inviting and is beautifully decorated and has a cozy feeling with the huge tree in the center and the fireplace surrounded by rocking chairs . I don't think the Poly or CR have the decorations like that of some of the other resorts, but if you are set on a monorail resort, my choice would be the Poly for the tropical atmosphere and the beach. Good luck deciding, although being at Disney during Christmas is amazing and I'm sure you'll have a great trip no matter which resort you choose .

Poly! It's my fave resort. Also a WL fan at Christmas. It's so beautiful and a lot cheaper than the Poly or CR
