Does anyone know if it is at-all possible to rent DVC points to book TWO conjoining Studio rooms?

It is not possible to reserve this at Poly. However, you can request it. Your request will not be guaranteed, but their track record is pretty good at honoring this request.

It is not possible at the other resorts, because a studio will connect to a 1BR to create a 2BR lock-off. There generally are no studios that connect to other studios anywhere except Poly.

If you rented points, you would need to let the owner (or the broker) know about this room request up front. Also, if getting 2 studios, a broker might use 2 different owners, and this might make coordinating the room request a bit more complicated.

Boardwalk has a lot of studios next to each other but no connecting door.

Even if you score 2 connected studios at Poly, you need to have an adult in each unit, so you can't book 2 and put the kids in one by them selves, not that anyone would want to.

You can request them at the Poly. Remember it is just a request, however, these are most usually met due to how the rooms are set up. Put yourself on one reservation, your wife on the other. Once at Poly, you can open the door between the two rooms.

If you have the connecting door open, it should be fine. Parents can sleep in one side, kids on the other. For booking reasons, the names need to be split but not sleeping arrangements.
