I believe you are right Sammie. You can see it under the desk in the photos and what is in the photos will not change other than they are changing out the beds.
My wife is more than a saint. I have been spending more time doing things around the house and spending time with our son besides my full time job and outdoor activities I enjoy so it is hard to get on the computer and add all the photos and info but I find time to pop in once in a while. Like last night I went in for 30 minutes to update the dates for rehab on each longhouse page and a few other things but I dont get the hours to do this anymore. I have files and files of photos I took and others took that I need to prepare and add to the pages and info. I am going to spend some time this weekend doing some work on it and my wife supports that. Sometimes I would rather not do this anymore but when I visit the Polynesian and meet staff that is so happy I am doing what I do or when I get letters and photos in the mail or emails from families who love the site it keeps me motivated to work on the site. When the time comes that people are bored with it that I will stop and hopefully someone else by than will have a site people can go to. There are quite a few people in here that have quite a collection of photos already. That was how my site started out. It only grew because people wanted more.
Unfortunately the traffic is getting so bad that the site is now shutting down in the middle of the month and that was even after using my money and donations to increase the bandwidth twice in the last few months ($45 each upgrade) so I am hoping I can trim down the page size without losing the photo quality. Anyway I am lucky to have such an understanding wife. I also could not do this without the support of many of the people here getting info for me when I can't fly out every weekend to WDW.
I think the funniest part is when people meet me and I am nothing like what they expected me to be.
WE stayed in a new room in Hawaii last month. In fact, we were the first to stay in it which was great fun.
The rooms are beautiful IMO. There are lots of little nooks for things which is fun. However, there overall seems less room for storage and I miss the full size table. The little table under the desk is slick though. I'm sure I'll figure out the storage thing eventually.
I had been worried about the daybed since our DS2 loved the old one but it is very nice.
The glass doors on the closets are so pretty when the lights are lit.
Seaspray posts often and she has a link on the bottom of her posts. She'll probably post here soon anyway.
There's a link in my signature that takes you to my web site. My web site has pictures from a few different Disney resorts, plus Disney restaurants, Disney Cruise, etc.
But here are the links directly to the pictures from our recent stay:
The summer page has pictures of what the rooms used to look like in the Hawaii building, the page from this month has what the new rooms look like, and both of them have pictures of the resort itself. Enjoy
