You should try it at least once, it is worth that much..
But be aware, that those who comment might have seen two different shows...
About two or three years ago Disney changed the entire "tone" of the show..
The first show that ran for many many years was very authentic, no real stupid story, just a presentation and representation of the various island cultures with decent naration..that alone made up for any questionable food quality..at that time there where at least two fire dancers..maybe three in some shows and it was breathtaking...
HOWEVER, Disney in a very questionable move (at least by most who have seen the original show) changed the show to a odd story about a girl coming home to her island and native roots..okay that is great, but most agreed the show suffered.
the food has stayed basically the same and it usually more then you can eat and on most nights the quality is good...when they run two shows per night most agree that the food is better in the first show but the performance is better in the second ( cooler, darker for the flame dance, etc)
