Polynesian in-room coffee maker question- help!

I'm staying in a DVC STUDIO and they told me they have a 4-cup 'single serve' coffee maker, like a mini kind. I usually bring my own coffee and filters, bc I like mine STRONG. Does anyone know if I can put a standard filter in these coffee makers? I leave tomorrow so I'd like to get my coffee packed up. Thanks!!

DVC studios at the Poly have the standard 10 cup Mr. Coffee type coffee makers. Not the little 4 cup ones.
