We're staying at the Polynesian on Thanksgiving week for two nights, Wed-Fri, then heading to Fort Lauderdale for a DCL cruise. After the cruise (5 days) we're heading back to the Poly for a 7 day stay before heading to MCO.

Is there any transport options provided by Disney, the DCL, or a 3rd party? Can anyone recommend, pricing etc? Or are we best getting a rental car?

TIA!

I hope to be doing the same trip in future, and I’ll definitely look at Brightline when we do. It seems to be very convenient and comfortable. I’ll compare the Brightline price to cost of rental car plus parking at Port Everglades, assuming we’re still willing to drive - DH and I are getting old enough to prefer not driving ourselves in unfamiliar places. I’ve read that if you sign up for Brightline emails you can get nice discount offers, too.

There's not a direct bus from WDW to Fort Lauderdale. You can take Mears shuttle to MCO, Brightline to Ft Lauderdale, and an Uber or taxi to the port. I would compare the cost of this to a rental car and do the cheaper option.

How many in your party? You might find the cheapest move is to rent a car for the drive.
Several people have suggested the train but be aware that the pricing on that is per-person which could make it more expensive than renting.

Umm, I haven’t signed up yet in any fashion. I read about coupons on the Cruise Critic Florida Departures forum. Maybe coupons came via creating an account - sorry I can’t remember!
