No there is not.
Laura
Shortly after I bought into Wyndham in 2007, they stopped allowing owners to transfer points to each other. They said it was due to a demand by the ownership, and that it was voted upon. No Wyndham members remembered voting on that, either.I might try that "trick" you suggested-thanks! And as far as DVC members requesting the change, I wasn't asked. Anyone here who was?
I think some of the other family suites do as well such as Coronado springs and possibly the other values. If you're still pumping, the unfrozen milk will be good for roughly a week. They say 8 days but for this type of small fridge I wouldn't count on the full time limit, nor would I count on the mini freezer if present in a dorm type fridge. You could also buy a very small freezer for around $100. You might also talk to some of the companies that rent cribs and the like and see if they might have one or access to something that'd work. The problem with frozen breast milk is that getting it there intact and usable for several days will be risky since it cannot be refrozen even if only partly thawed and is then good only 24 hrs.I'm looking to store frozen breast milk without having to go to bell services everyday. So far I've figured out art of animation family suites, 1 bedroom dvc and fort wilderness cabins have one. I'm just trying to explore other options.
That is the standard excuse for any change that members might not like. I have never in 18 years been asked for my opinion. I have given it. I am interested to hear if anyone was contacted about this.I might try that "trick" you suggested-thanks! And as far as DVC members requesting the change, I wasn't asked. Anyone here who was?
This is likely to a degree. They likely didn't request no freezer but simply a larger fridge. This is a way to get a larger fridge and the freezer's in that type are usually pretty worthless anyway or nearly so. IMO it was a reasonable change overall. On a side note, we were in a Wyndham "studio" in PCB a year or 2 ago and the studio put DVC to shame. It had a fridge that basic size with an ice maker, a functional kitchen with small stove, and more.On my last trip to WDW, this past January, I contacted member services as to there not being a freezer section in the mini-fridge in my AKL studio. Member services quickly called me back (at home). The CM said that DVC members had requested the elimination of the freezer section so as to have more space in the mini-fridge!
I need the freezer because I bring food due to religious dietary restrictions.
But his might help you: I found that if I turned down the thermostat all the way, and put the frozen items up against the cooling coils, they stayed frozen. Items in "front" of those items were not frozen.
I was thinking that next trip I might try placing a rolled up newspaper in "front" of those items to slightly "seal in" the cold.
PCB? Polychlorinated biphenyl? On a side note, we were in a Wyndham "studio" in PCB a year or 2 ago and the studio put DVC to shame. It had a fridge that basic size with an ice maker, a functional kitchen with small stove, and more.
PCB? Polychlorinated biphenyl?
Seriously, where's PCB?
I LIKED having the small freezer!Does anyone know why DVC chose to eliminate the freezer section? Being able to have a ice for my inflamed back at the end of the day is/was one reason I liked DVC and one of the reasons I prefer 1 BRs over studios.
