Polynesian Deluxe Studio Showers and Wheelchairs

I wasn't sure if this made sense here or in the DVC section. We are traveling with someone wheelchair bound and will be staying in the DVC studios. The roll in shower rooms are already booked, but from what I have seen is that the studios have a tub and "walk in" shower. That walk in shower appears to be big enough to accommodate a wheelchair. Has anyone had experience with wheelchairs and these showers?

This is a shower in a Polynesian studio. If the person can transfer out of the chair and stand up, she should be okay. But it's not big enough for a wheelchair inside the shower and to close the door.
