We have reservations for concierge in June and I was trying to remember when they contact you before your trip. We stayed here three years ago and loved everything about our vacation so when we started planning our next trip my husband said only if we stay at the Polynesian and do concierge. I have also added on three days at AKL concierge and wondered if they will also contact us . How should I handle PS's ? Does each only help for the time you are there?

We are staying at the Poly Concierge checking in on January 19. I can't wait. I wanted Reservations to Breakfast at Cinderella Castle. I emailed them about a week before the 60 days. They called me back to find out what credit card I wanted to use to reserve. They also suggested I try myself to get reservations. I was not successful getting the reservation, but they did. I did not hear from them after that point, so I emailed them again last week with all the priority seatings I wanted. I included where, when, how many and ages of children. I also let them know they could change times slightly if needed to get the PS. They emailed me back within 2 days, with a typed list of all the PS they obtained. I got everything I wanted. I would try email. It worked well for me. Here is the address:

If you're asking about the PVI form that is mailed to guests prior to arrival, that is typically sent between 60-90 days in advance of the stay. I've received it as late as 30 days out. That said, this time (also for our June '03 trip), the form was sent within a day or two after I made the reservation.

I agree about using the e-mail method of arranging PS, room requests, etc. We have done this for our past two trips and there's never been a problem.

Just remember, if you're planning a dinner show, you should reserve your date ASAP because the earlier your book, the better the seating. ;)

Have fun--we're eagerly awaiting our return.
