Polynesian Concierge Called

A very nice lady from Poly Concierge called a few mins ago to inform me of the change of the Concierge buildings and check to see if there was anything else they could do for me during our stay. She also informed me again we would be checked into the Tahiti even though we are going to arrive on the 31st of May. On the 31st concierge will be in Hawaii on the 1st they are moving the lounge to Tahiti. We will have access to it on the 31st by going into the Hawaii building . That way we don't have to move the next day to Tahiti she stated. So it looks like they are going to have only one concierge lounge for that week but on sunday it will be moved from building to building. She said plans are just now coming together as to what all they are doing during the move. So it looks like everyone checking in this week that stays concierge and trip extends through next week will be in Tahiti.
I am getting soooooo excited about our trip...

Oh DNSDisney I am soo excited. I will be ther in Oct. Hopefully after the move back to Hawaii. Please let us know how your trip went when you come back.

We are there for 7 nights starting May 31st.
I will be sure to post a report with pics when we return. I was sort of hoping we would be in Hawaii after hearing earlier this month that the first week of June both longhouses would be open. But I will survive.

So glad to hear that someone on the DIS boards will be in the Tahiti longhouse during the Hawaii Concierge rehab...as we are about a month behind you checking into Tahiti Concierge also. I too have reserved a Garden View, but I also requested a ground floor room.
Will be anxiously awaiting your return and your report with pics too....Hope your trip is magical!!!

Nysie- she didn't mention where the smoking rooms will be. But I have to email them because (silly me) I forgot to ask them something. To be honest when she first called (before she said she was from Poly) I thought it was a telemarketer so I didn't pay even enough attention to catch her name LOL. Any hoot I will ask her in the email if you like.

Thanks for the well wishes. I am sure I will love where ever we end up after all it is Poly Concierge.

DNSDisney, I hope you have a wonderful trip. I too will be awaiting your report. We are going in August and I was really hoping to hear a report of how it was in Tahiti. I also would like to know about non-smoking rooms.
