Polynesian Busses...Shared or No?

Hello! We have our first (and dream) stay planned for the Poly this September. I am wondering about their busses in regards to if they are shared with other resorts. I did a forum search and have read things on various websites but they are outdated and/or inconsistent. Also, if the buses are shared, it is similar to when All Star Resorts share occasionally, or are they always shared?

They are shared. But remember you only need bus to the Disney Studios and the Animal Kingdom. You can boat or monorail to the Magic Kingdom and monorail to Epcot.

Shared with Grand Floridian, although I feel like at peek times they may have been separate.

Poly shares a bus with GF more often than not. If you get on the bus at Poly, you'll usually stop at GF next before heading on to your final destination. When you are heading to Poly, it will stop at Poly first, GF second.

Good question. I will be at the GF In September. From my understanding you have the advantage at the Poly because bus will come there first and then to GF.

DHS and AK are shared with Grand Floridian. But the trip between the resorts is very short, and I was there at a busy season and only had to stand on a bus once: Coming out of DHS after close/Star Wars. Which... shared or not, those buses will be full, srsly.

(Monorail after Illuminations will also be bananas.)

Thank you so much everyone!!! Hearing that they are only shared with the GF and not the Contemporary made me feel so much better since we are first to pick up and drop off.

In September we only shared at off times. First thing in the am we got our own bus to HS I know. I do remember the DS bus taking forever by the time we picked up GF then headed over there. Can't remember AK, but I think we went mid afternoon and shared.
