If points per night didn't matter, I would pick the bung, or maybe a 2 or 3 bedroom else where.. BUT per night per point.. with size and location.. I love the POLY layout extra split bath, size, and points per night over a 1 bedroom else where..

I don't get the haters.. I AM IN LOVVVVVVVE WITH THE POLY .. **** I am bias I bought fixed week 52, to enjoy every NYE or Christmas!!! The rest of my traveling life.
Can't say that I hate the Poly, but I am quite deflated that 1BRs are out of the question and that the bungalows are stratospherically point-priced. Further, having stayed at a VGF studio, I wasn't a huge fan of the split bath there as it leaves little room for storage. Even my wife--who was so excited when Poly DVC was announced as she has been a fan for decades--has said she doesn't want to buy there now. However, I can see those who love it, typically book a studio, or who have the buying power to purchase the bungalows would jump at the chance.

Wow. Didn't realize they were selling fixed weeks. Did u go for a lake view or standard...or the really expensive bungalow

I voted for BLT studio because we have a youngster and walking to and from the MK is priceless. That is why we bought there and why we will be there this summer. Over the next 5 years though, if it is possible we will spend a week in a Poly and VGF studio. We've never stayed at either resort before.

Bumping up... Now that more have had a chance to stay at the poly.

I think VGF is beautiful. The rooms are gorgeous. However, for our overall needs, we really like BLT. I don't love the modern, lack of Disney theming. However, the quick & easy walk to MK and numerous locations to watch Wishes is priceless. Community Hall is also a must for us. My son loves arts & crafts especially painting. I also like the option of 2 pools & 2 water slides. Boat ride to Ft. Wilderness. & we also like the The Wave. I am hesitant to book Poly. We actually had a reservation for December & happily our std studio BLT wait list came through! Poly- The potential to hear boat horns & neighbor (some reports indicate rooms need sound proofing) are huge deters for our family. I am also not a fan of separate building layout for the rooms (not attached to the lobby).

We would (will) stay in a VGF 1 bedroom next but we will stay in a BLT 1 bedroom again. We have a few VGF points and more AKV points, so we use our VGF exclusively at GF but sometimes use our AKV points at BLT.

No interest in the Poly as we don't do studios but also I've never loved the Poly as much as the Contemporary and the GF.

Later when we travel without kids we might try the Poly but I'm not sure,.

VGF studio or 1 br as it is our home resort...but we try to grab a couple BLT TP view nights when we can for the nighttime view and fireworks...

I am somewhat biased since I own at VGF. I would stay in at least a 1 bedroom because I like the space. I have not stayed in BLT but I have been to TOWL and walked briefly down long non-descript hallways. I will be staying a couple of nights in PVB studio in December. I have been avoiding the Poly because of all the construction. To me all the changes at the Poly are a mixed bag. I miss the big fountain in the GCH but I like the added seating. I think the bungaloes spoil the views -- it would not have been so bad if they had stopped short of the point (cut off the last 8 or so units).

I've stayed in studios at BLT & VGF. Thank goodness BLT was a solo trip, it's very small. I loved VGF, beautiful room. Plenty of room for 3 of us. I'd like to try Poly next year.

I voted for the GF 1bd. I love the poly, but not the dvc section. Also we prefer a 1 bd, with a kitchen, the bungalows are too many points for what they are and the studio is a little to small for our requirements.

BLT standard... 1 or 2 bd. we love saving points, and currently need seperate sleeping areas for both kids (we got lucky with horrible sleepers).

If we had to do a studio, however, it would NOT be at BLT. Their studios are crazy small. We would likely opt for GFV, edging out poly. The reports/rumours that you can hear the boats all night long if you stay at a poly studio is too scary for us... Our white noise machines may not be effective and we would end up with kids waking up at 5:15am. Not something I would like while on vacation!

If just DH and me DW - then we will do VGF studio
If DS & DD come with us (older teens) then we will do Poly Villa Studio

Chose BLT, love those standards points and can't beat the walk to the MK and when there are more than two of us love that extra bathroom.

BLT one bedroom (for just two of us). Can save with standard view points, but we mostly do Theme Park View. Love having two full baths. Can't beat sitting on the deck having wine and watching the fireworks in my jammies. Seeing the parking lot below has never bothered me...I look straight out from my deck, not down....unless I am amusing myself by watching the CM's in the morning that are running late.

Would like to try VGF, but I have a hard time justifying the points for a one bedroom that does not have two full baths. Perhaps we will try a studio for a night or two. We did the tour the day before it opened, and it is very beautiful and elegant.

We did do Poly lake view studio for one night. Sorry to say we won't go back. We had a nice third floor room with a great view of the fireworks, but the bungalows were very distracting and the ferry horn blowing at 5:15 in the morning was quite a surprise. I also did not like the fact that is was quite a walk (outdoors) from the GCH. Although having gas grills close by, along with a short walk to the TTC, and the split bath, I can see why it will become a favorite of many.

I voted Poly studio and BLT 2 bedroom because that where we are staying on our next scheduled trip in September. Others in our group have a BLT studio booked also.

We have stayed at BLT previous times since we own there so we know what to expect. Love the location and the ability to walk to and from MK.

Very much looking forward to the Poly portion having never stayed there.

I don't ever expect to stay at VGF. We don't own points there and have never found any studios available at 7 months. Maybe some day but I'm not counting on it.

I'm not sure. I guess it would depend who we brought along and where we planned to go.
I have not yet stayed at the VGF. I'd like to stay there at least once to see how I liked it.
I really do like the transportation options from the Polynesian. It is too easy to get to EPCOT and MK from there. I did like the Polynesian studio over BLT. But, I like the 1BR and 2BR options better at BLT. 2 bathrooms in the 1BR and 3bathrooms in a 2BR is the primary advantage to the BLT IMHO, but I also like to walk to the MK.
