Poly vs. GF vs. BLT.... Where will you stay & why?

Just want to see what everyone else thinks..

My vote is for GF: 1 bedroom.

GF is just stunning! With the little touches of disney, it's a perfect fit!
It's not a disney vacation without the magic
1 bedroom is perfect for my family of 4. :cloud9:

BLT:has the location to MK. But not that magic disney feeling.
Little to modern for my family. But Would stay here if I couldn't get GF.

Poly: I had planned to add on here when I 1st saw the original plan
Then they cut back, they took out everything I like.
With no 1 bedrooms or 2 bedroom lock offs we will not be adding on

Now why we won't be staying there..
The color scheme in the hall ways and rooms is just freighting! :scared1:
I've never seen so much red and orange.. (I've only seen the room from a YouTube video.)
The rooms seem soooo dark, and there is no storage.
Reports have it that the rooms are very stuff and hot due the the AC unable to go below 68 and a motion detector that will shut off the AC at night..

Our choice is VGF. Disney just isn't Disney to us without staying at the Grand Floridian, where we've always stayed for the past 20 years or so.
We love the home theater room in the grand villa that we use as a 4th bedroom. Perfect for the seven(and growing) of us and our yearly family gathering needs.
Our other yearly trip is with less people, so we usually book a two-bedroom for that. But I couldn't pick two! :goodvibes

I love your icon!

BLT one bedroom, with two teenage boys we need the second bathroom. DH and I would stay in a VGF one bedroom by ourselves or a two bedroom with the boys. I asked DH if we could stay at Poly for two nights just to try it, on a trip with no kids. He said that he has no desire to ever stay in a studio again.

When the weekend points were significantly higher than week night points, I had us move to a studio to save points. On Sunday morning DH told me to buy more points. :rotfl2:

BLT (Standard View) Studio since it's the cheapest point option for a Monorail DVC room.

I can't vote because it is not multiple choice.

For us, it will be BLT studios, BLT 1BR, BLT 2BR, and Poly studios.

BLT 1BR is our choice from this list.

Poly doesn't have 1BR, so we will probably never stay there. [insert thumbs down emoticon]

We are staying at VGF 1BR in a couple of months, but the point usage is ridiculous. But looking forward to it for this one trip.

BLT is a nice blend of monorail/walking convenience and less points per night in a Lake View room (don't own there so SV is tough). So it becomes our choice by default of those three resorts.

For me, nothing beats a studio theme park view...I don't see any dressers in a poly studio ???? Where do they propose we put our clothes. Wilderness villas have the convertible table, which is not great if you have to clear every night, but at least they squeezed a dresser in. Why WLV a has four feet of space between the table/tv/Murphy bed and sliding glass door:idea: for a pack n play  they could've put a fold away table attached to the wall...but I digress. We've stayed at GFV in a two bedroom lock off lake view, nice, but I still pick Theme Park View of any size over GFV or POLY

Wow, lots of space for five people?!? I can see my luggage stashed in the rather large shower when not in use.

Has to be Bay Lake Tower for us. The point cost is too high at Poly and the kids won't appreciate The Grand Floridian (although when DW and I go without them we are Definitely staying there) yet.

Of course we haven't been disappointed at any of the DVC resorts, they all have their charms ... aw crap! Now I'm getting verklempt! Why did we move from Florida to Minnesota!?!!!!

Since you worded the poll as "where will you stay" vice "where would you prefer to stay" I opted for 1BR at BLT. VGF is nice but not worth the extra point cost over the convenience of BLT. Based on looks and feel alone, I would grant VGF holds the edge. However, BLT offers a lot of extras and would be our first choice with limited points based on the options you presented. A night in a studio at PVB just to take a closer look at it (and to meet our long-term goal of staying at all the resorts at one time or another) is likely, but it won't ever be a go-to DVC resort for us.

I voted GF 1 bedroom(BLT 1 bed would be my #2 selection), we like a 1 or 2 bedroom, would not use a studio with 3 kids, that is the reason we bought DVC was for more space not less. If it was an adults only maybe we would book a studio but don't see that happening anytime soon.
The bungalows are way to expensive for me to justify and it doesn't appear that 8 people could stay there comfortably. I will stick to the 1 or 2 bed configs.

When staying in the MK area, my first choice is a VGF studio, like the resort and the lake view. Second choice is BLT because of the walk to MK and final choice is PVB cause at least it is on the monorail.

I voted for a 1 bedroom at VGF but if I was able to pick another choice, my second would have been a 1 bedroom at BLT. Although on our next trip we are doing a split stay at VGF (2 bedroom Lake View) and BLT (2 bedroom MK view).

If points per night didn't matter, I would pick the bung, or maybe a 2 or 3 bedroom else where.. BUT per night per point.. with size and location.. I love the POLY layout extra split bath, size, and points per night over a 1 bedroom else where..

I don't get the haters.. I AM IN LOVVVVVVVE WITH THE POLY .. **** I am bias I bought fixed week 52, to enjoy every NYE or Christmas!!! The rest of my traveling life.
