Poly vs BLT

It has been ages since I have been to Disney World and I am trying to plan a trip for two adults, no children. Torn between BLT 1 Bedroom Villa 8/20-8/28 OR Poly Standard 9/17-9/25. I realize it’s not a completely fair comparison as it’s also different weeks. I really like the villa but concerned about time of year, crowds, rain, etc. on the other hand have always wanted to visit Poly but it’s just a standard room. I would appreciate any thoughts!

It will be HOT on both your itinerary's. DW and I like to book 1 BR's during our Sept (still hot) as we can do more chill time in the room that way. BLT/CR complex will provide you the most AC spaces to enjoy. And the Poly is just a quick monorail ride if you want to visit. If the heat isn't an issue, the Poly villas are nice and roomy. If you've never stayed in a 1 BR, you will be spoiled!

Thanks for the input! I definitely was leaning towards BLT in August however crowd calendars seemed to recommend September over August. Just looking over the images and some walkthroughs online the 1 BR looks very nice and the idea of even having a washer and dryer would be great.

I would not base your trip on crowd calendars. They are not accurate since Covid.

My choice would be BLT 1 bedroom.
