Hi to all,

We traveled this past Sept, one week after 9/11, and had the trip of a lifetime! No one was there! We stayed at the Beach Club and totally loved it. We are thinking of going back this November and are unsure if we should stay with what we know and loved, The Beach Club, or try something new like the Polynesian because of its authentic vacation look and proximity to M.K. What have you done or what do you recommend...Thanks for your time.

Groosch! nicanna, how cant yer go wrong with either????....BC is handy to MGM & Epcot....the poly is a delight....let yer conscience be yer guide....yer'll have a great time either way!!

If you will spend most of your time at the MK--then the Poly is the one for you.

However, if you're like us, and spend more time Epcot and MGM, than the BC is the way to go!

Either one is a great choice!

As the others have indicated, where you will spend more time is where you should stay. Do you have young children? Can't beat the Poly and monorail access to MK (just wheel strollers right on.) No kids? Are you going to want to eat at some of the Epcot countries? Then BC all the way. It is just a short stroll away. How about splitting your stay? Then you get the best of both "worlds". Whatever you decide, it will be great - after all it is Disney!:)

dh and i are trying to branch out and try new resorts, so i'd probably go with the poly. :)

Well, I had your exact same problem although mine was between the Yacht Club and the Polynesian. My solution ? Go to both :D It will just be me and my husband so it won't be too much of a hassle to split our stay. We are doing 3 nights at the Yacht Club and then 3 nights at the Polynesian. Have fun making your decision :)

We're also splitting our vacation between the BC and the Poly. Stayed at Poly last year and loved it so much but really want to stay at an Epcot resort just to see the area. So we're staying 6 nights at Poly and 3 nights at Beach Club.

Both are beautiful resorts but we prefer the Poly. The rooms are much larger which was very important to our family of 5. Transportation is much better, too. As others have noted it is great to be able to walk to Epcot from the BC but from the Poly it is a short walk to the TTC and then you can hop on the Epcot monorail. You can take the ferry from there to MK, too...as well as the MK monorail or launches from the dock. Buses to AK and MGM come to the front of the resort, too. Splitting could be a solution if you don't mind moving and being without a room for a number of hours. If you do so, I would do the BC first.

Agree with the last two posts. Maybe split the difference if you can't decide. The Polynesian's main pool was just redone last year with a volcano/slide.But it is hard to give up the SAB pool. Depending on what building you are in at the Poly, it can be a quick walk to TTC with access to the Epcot Monorail or you can ride the MK monorail around to the TTC. Both have lots to offer.Have fun wherever you end up.:)
