Poly vs. BCV

I am in the early planning stages of our (hopefully) next trip in fall of 16. We rented DVC points last time and were happy with our experience for sure! We stayed at Beach Club and it worked out great since our kids were most impressed with Hollywood Studios so getting there and back was awesome! I know there is a lot of work being done there now and I expect it to be under heavy construction by the time we go.

Because of that, I was wondering if we should perhaps consider a studio at the Polly instead? I will say we were also very happy with the restaurants over at BCV/YC because they took great care of our kiddo with multiple food allergies so I worry about that too.

I don't know when the room refurbs are happening at BCV...is that what you're talking about? That isn't heavy construction, and really shouldn't interfere with a resort stay there. Heavy construction is what is going to take place at WL.

I actually think most of the work will be done by then. We just stayed at BCV in April and, though we saw construction workers rolling dressers, rugs, etc. back to the rooms they were working on, we heard absolutely nothing. It's definitely not heavy construction. If that's the only thing holding you back from booking BCV, I wouldn't worry about it.

I was speaking of all the work at DHS, not the resort. I'm just trying to figure out if staying over by the MK would be better or if we should spend a little more for BCV.

I'd personally vote beach club, the appeal of being a 10 minute walk to epcot and all of its dining options is too much to pass up at least for me and my gf.
