Poly Villas Check In

Not sure if this has been talked about yet, but will there be a seperate check in area for PVB?

I was wondering the same thing. It looks like from some of the PVB pictures people have been taking of the outside of the buildings, there is a pretty entrance that they built onto one of the longhouses. I was wondering if they were going to do check in there.

I believe part of the reasons given for the Poly lobby remodel was because they required more check in space because of DVC.

I assumed it would be in the main Poly building because you have 3 longhouses plus the bungalows. It's different than VGF or BLT with only 1 building involved. The only building they could do it in is Pago Pago because that's the only one with a parking lot entrance. Floor plans have been posted and there's been nothing about a separate lobby.

It makes sense to checkin at the GCH. 3 longhouses and 20 bungalows. aome of those bungalows are closer to the GCH than they are to Pago Pago (DVC longhouse adjacent to the parking lot).

Besides, with what they are doing for the GCH entrance way, I would certainly want that to be my welcome home experience.

Not following the logic here. Only the 20 over water bungalows are really additional guest units. The long houses have simply been repurposed from regular resort rooms.

Yeah, I didn't follow the logic but that's what I read more than one guest was told. The reports also usually involved much bemoaning about DVC coming to Poly, after all they were part of the reason why the lobby water feature was removed.
