Poly view/ Construction Question

Good Morning. We have an upcoming stay at the Poly - our goal was to book a room that isn’t impacted by a view of the DVC construction.

We have a Theme Park View booked. Looking at the Touring Plans room views, the room may be in either the Tuvalu or Aotearoa longhouses. With the construction, I personally don’t see how Aotearoa can possible have a Theme Park View. I would expect that only Tuvalu would have a Theme Park View.

We were thinking to downgrading to a Lagoon View (to avoid the possibility of Aotearoa) which in the description is a view of either the Seven Seas Lagoon, pool, or marina. Again, TP lists these views in the two same longhouses, but for some reason, excludes Samoa, Tonga, and Fiji, each of which have a view of either the pool or marina.

So, any advice as to which room category to book - either stay with Theme Park or switch to Lagoon to avoid any view of the construction? Thanks in advance!

If you car concerned about the view from Aotearoa, I'd just have them note your preference for the Tuvalu longhouse on the reservation.

Going from reports isn’t foolproof since we only get smaller sample sizes around boards like this, but I have yet to see a TPV guest report they were put in Aotearoa, so I’m relatively sure they are only using Tuvalu with that category. I’d be willing to bet we’d see more complaint posts if they were using Aotearoa. Again, don’t take that as absolute fact, but that’s my read.
