We are Polynesian "freaks" and stay there everytime. Since the rehab on the Hawaii building is going on during our visit in Aug, we thought we would try the BCV's. Its DH and I and 3 kids (DD 13 (ugh, that hurt), DS5 and DD4). We have a 2br villa but have not requested a view yet. Tell me how much we're going to love it! One question, we're going to make a grocery stop on the way from the airport. If our room is not ready will the BCV have somewhere to store our perishables?
Any help, input, thoughts on views with my group, etc.. would be appreciated.
Thanks!

Just thought I'd post to say you may want to look at the DVC board for info--there are many people over there that could give you some good tips.
Webmaster Doc has a thread on available views at BCV--pool view, "wood" view, etc. There are limited rooms available (higher floors) with a view of "EPCOT" or illuminations, but, these rooms can also have a view of the road. Some people don't mind this--others do. It will depend on your preferences.
We love the Polynesian too--have only stayed there twice though. We got the "DVC" bug and finally bought in. Watch it--you may end up with it too!!:p ;)
Have a great vacation!:)

Yes, they can store your valuables. There are very few rooms with "views", and in all honesty DVC members have first dibs, so I wouldn't really bother trying to get a certain view. Requesting things like non-smoking or closer to the elevators would be a better bet.
