Poly to MK (w/o monorail) options

I've read that the walk from the Polynesian to MK is about 25 minutes using the pathway by the Grand Floridian.
What are the other options & how long do they take?
I'm guessing walking to the TTC & taking the monorail is an option (but I can imagine that being crowded at park opening & closing).
Would walking to the Grand Floridian and hopping on the monorail there make any sense (would doing security check at VGF, not at MK save time). I normally walk ~10 miles a day so I'm not looking to avoid walking - just trying to see what will get me to & from MK the quickest.

The walking path between the Poly and the Grand is temporarily closed due to construction. Only options currently are the resort launches between PVB & MK or walk to TTC and take either the Ferry or Resort Monorail to the MK.

Other than the options you mentioned...

Boat from Poly to MK
Boat from TTC to MK
Uber/Lyft

I wouldn't walk to GF to get the monorail. GF is the last stop on the way to MK and the monorail is often packed by the time it gets there.

Not sure which is quickest. It probably depends on when you are going.

Disney advises 1.5hrs for transportation. From Poly, I'd allow an hour no matter which way you go.

From the DVC buildings, its a super short walk to the TTC (we were in the Moorea building so closer to TTC than the Grand Ceremonial House at the Poly). In the mornings at least they were loading the ferries at the TTC one after the other, so we walked right on no waiting and the ferry left pretty quickly. You do security at TTC for MK, so once you go through that you don't have to do security again at the park no matter how you arrive (ferry or monorail). There is also a resort launch at the Poly which will stop at Grand Floridian and continue to MK, but considering where the DVC buildings are I'd just use the TTC transportation

Not 100% sure on the TO MK, but it was running back from MK to TTC (took the ferry to TO MK, but express monorail back)

The Resort and Express lines are running.
The Epcot line has not yet restarted.

Haven't been to the Poly before. Looking on Google maps, I see two possible ways to walk from Poly to VGF. One by the water and a second on a path that crosses Floridian Way (there's a marked crosswalk). Are both of these options closed off?

The DVC section of the Polynesian is really very convenient to the TTC, When we stayed there, we usually walked over to the TTC even though the resort monorail was operating.
