Sorry if its in the wrong forum - wasnt sure which forum to place this in:

We're spending a pool day at our resort (Polynesian) and for dinner want to go to Le Cellier. What is the easiest way to get there? TTC to Epcot and walk through to WS? Or get to Beach Club (how?) and walk through IG? We're not going to be in any great rush, so no need for taxi or Uber, just wondering if I'm missing an easier way than walking through Epcot's front gates?

IMO boat to MK, hop on a Beach Club or BW bus and walk in closer to the Canada pavilion. Hawaii is closer to the boat launch than the path to the TTC if you're staying club level.

Fantastic, thank you!

Does Poly have a bus DS? You can then take the boat from DS to the International Gateway and walk to Canada.

I vote catch the monorail at TTC and just walk through Epcot. Taking the monorail to Epcot is FUN and such a wonderful view. Waiting for a bus at MK to me is no fun. Plus that bus could make other stops along the way, potentially not really saving you much time.

I do agree that's a shorter walk, but not as 'fun' in my book. But both are valid.

There is no boat from Disney Springs to the International Gateway. Boats from DS go to Port Orleans, Old Key West and Saratoga Springs - not to Epcot.

The Epcot boat goes from DHS -> Epcot Resorts (Swan/Dolphin, Yacht/Beach Club, and Boardwalk) -> International Gateway. Then the reverse loop.

Thinking the monorail will ultimately be what DH will want to do as its his fav mode of transportation. The way its been running - or not running for that matter - causes me concern but as I stated, we're in no rush other than to make our ADR at that time and will just pack in more travel time to be sure!

Hi @ErinsMommy :wave2:

I know the monorail gets some bad press around here, but I have to be honest, I don't get it! I spent 20+ nights at Disney in the last year, most of those in a monorail resort, and many of those at Poly. We are heavy resort and Epcot monorail users. I cannot point to a single situation during that time where we had a monorail problem or it interfered with our trip in any way. A couple of times it wasn't running as early as we needed, but that's not that big of a deal.

I get it, stuff happens, it does break down on occasion. I guess we have just been very lucky. Some of the comments I read around here about the constant monorail problems don't match our experience at all! Just my 2 cents! :goodvibes

 and Thank you! We typically haven't experienced a great deal of monorail issues but the last 2 trips we did and boy was it at annoying times!

Another option is bus to DHS and boat to IG. But I too like the sound of monorail to Epcot and a walk through the park.

I think the pp was referring to DHS (DS being short for Disney studios, I would guess.)

There's not really a quicker way than walking to the Epcot monorail @ TTC from the Poly & then through Epcot to Le Cellier because you never know how long you'll have to wait for a boat or bus.

Walking over to the TTC and taking the Epcot monorail, and snagging a FP as you go through Epcot, seems like a great idea to me, especially where you aren't in a rush.

I think they meant Disney (Hollywood) Studios, not Disney Springs.

This is my choice as well. I love the monorail trip to Epcot.

I agree, it is not annoying until it happens and you are stuck on it. Then you start to think about alternative plans, JIC.
