Ok guys, here's my dilemma:

We are taking my parents on a dream trip to the Poly next June. With 7 of us we want to stay in a suite. I want to pamper them. They would never be able to go on this trip on their own, so I want to make it very nice for them. We were originally planning on going the day after my son gets out of school, June 4. We booked the 2 bedroom Princess Suite. Well, I called yesterday to apply my deposit and found out they had the wrong dates on our ressie, so the very nice CM tried to find the same thing for me on the RIGHT dates, but no Princess Suite. There was, however, the Ambassador Suite available (bigger suite with kitchen). The only drawback is the Ambassador has garden view, Princess has marina view and is cheaper. CM found Princess Suite on June 9. Ok, so we could either wait and go June 9 but would miss going to Cirque (which I REALLY wanted to do because I love it and want my parents to see it) because Cirque will not be performing for June 5-20. I'm really torn about all of this. What would you do:

I'd go with the Marina view, you might be able to take your parents to a Cirque travelling show when they goto your city. Just a thought!

You can always keep trying for the Princess suite on your original date, someone might cancel!

Goodluck!!!

p.s. Im totally jealous :crazy:

I guess the best approach is to think of what they would enjoy more:

-marina view

-Cirque

I would go with Cirque. How much can you look out the window:p

Enjoy!

It's a matter of priorities, but I look at it this way: Cirque is going to last a few hours, but you're going to have your room view for the entire trip. I may not be objective, though, cause I'm "view" obsessed.

no brainer.....I pampered my folks with the Princess Suite last year and it was FABULOUS!!!!!

They pipe the Wishes music right by your balcony and the Tonga building is like the CR's 14th floor....very exclusive and lots of attention from the staff!

::yes::

Also, they will be rehabbing the Tonga building this next Jan-April, so you will be one of the lucky first to experience the new Polynesian "look"!:sunny:

Have a wonderful time!:wave:

Bambi Tamby,

Thanks so much for the pictures. They are wonderful! Thanks everyone else too for the advice. We have decided to go with the Princess Suite on the 9th. I'm bummed about missing Cirque, but we will be able to do it on another trip. We finally decided the view was pretty important to us, and the pictures definitely helped. I can't wait to watch Wishes from our balcony!

Thanks again everyone!
