We will be at The Poly April 24th, concierge. When is the acceptable time to fax down a room request? Actually, we have Lagoon View but want the first floor, not too particular on what room unless has a suggestion…just want to be able to walk out.

Also, I would be interested in the length of stay pass for The Mouse Boats. Anyone know if I should request this ahead of time?

Thanks for any suggestions……….

Three to five days out is normal. The more generic the request the better chance of getting it. I.E. first floor concierge vs. room #### in Building #######.

Check out Tikiman's Web page on Concierge Services On this page you will find the concierge email address and phone number. If you are staying concierge you can email your requests directly to The Polynesian Resort Planning Office, they will take care of your requests, but remember even in concierge sometimes your requests can't be granted.

Hope this helps!! :D

Hey Dixie Days! You're out in my neck of the woods!!! I stayed at the Polynesian last November/December and LOVED IT!!! I faxed my preferences to them 4 days prior, then confirmed them the day before I was coming. Got the building & the room I wanted.

Regarding the length of stay on the Mouseboats. I would either check Tikiman's site or contact the Polynesian directly. I was not aware they had this option, but only rented the boats once during my stay.

Have a great trip!!!

P.S. Take a good, close look at the shower curtain. Someone's smiling at you on it!!

What happened to all the nice weather we had been getting?? Woke up this morning wishing I was back at the Polynesian.

I really enjoyed it at the Polynesian and actually it was just luck. I had a ressie at the Caribbean Beach, but since they had closed it for renovations, they gave me the choice of either the AKL or Polynesian for $20 more than what I had booked the CB for!!

I believe that the Hawaii building is concierge and the Lagoon side faces the Magic Kingdom straight on. The main pool is just a quick walk and the quiet pool is right behind it. Don't forget to try the water launch to and from the Magic Kingdom. It is direct to the MK and stops at the GF, before heading to the Polynesian on the return. I found this to be less crowded than the monorail.
