Yeah but the negatives of the Contemporary are:
(1) small average pool
(2) strange little men sneak into your room at night
(3) the rooms are decorated in an outdated way
(4) every other shower has a two way mirror connected to a live internet connection
(5) There is no movie theatre
(6) Anna Kournakova or Matthew McConnohey have never stayed there before
(7) The California grill really serves fish caught in Bay Lake and passes it off as Halibut
(8) The concierge behind the desk on the lobby level does not wear pants.

Argh Matey!! You found about about the halibut, did yee? Well, did yee also know the fish fingers come from the parasailing casualities!

Maybe I like outdated because I am outdated (lol). After all, I did use to visit the park when you purchased individual tickets for each ride!

Also, the Contemporary is so Retro. Have you seen the ghost of Walt roaming the corridors in his polyester leisure slacks with his penguine golf shirt? I'll have to try some of that Bay Lake Halibut. Is it loaded with Mercury, PCP and other industrial contaminants?

Seriously, I didn't get to read your original post either, but I am glad that you found something that you liked better than your original accomodation. You should always feel free to voice your opinion on this forum. Hey, we all have different tastes and our resorts that we like/dislike.

Good trips, bad trips, they both happen. Italy for 10 days two years ago, beautiful, expensive, and by no means outstanding service from any staff member, in fact mediocre at best. At one point we stayed on the Lido in Venice, a small island, very nice hotel, very small rooms, very standard service. However, I was in Italy, it didn't ruin my trip. Same with Disney, I guess I'm really lucky, and have never had a bad experience in 7 trips, but I do know anything can happen.
