Poly rehab scheduled?

Has anyone heard anything about any longhouses at the Polynesian being refurbished in the near future? I'm planning to stay there this December and trying to decide a few longhouses I'd like to request a room in. Someone on another board said they thought Tokelau was going to be refurbished but I can't find any info. about this anywhere. Thanks! -Stephanie

Was just there until 6/2 and there was no evidence of them preparing for a renovation. As far as I was concerned, it looked great and didn't need renovating! I know the quiet pool area was recently refurbished and it looked wonderful. Honestly, I didn't see any refurb happening at the Poly during my entire trip.

We just returned from our stay at the Poly (sigh) and there was no renovations going on. One cast member told me that any scheduled refurbishments would not happen until after the summer season due to expected high occupancy rates thru August. Not sure which longhouses are left for renovation......everything looked great while we were there with no real signs of wear/tear. HTH
