Based on recent pictures it looks like things are progressing well. Doesn't anyone have any more specific idea as to when it might be open (besides spring 2016) Thx

It's been about 3 weeks or so since I was out there, PetePanMan. I am planning on going out sometime this week. You are correct that it is a quite large project. They actually completely removed the old pool and are rebuilding. When I was there around 3 weeks ago, there were structures up on both sides of the pool, both quite large. It did look like they are gaining steam on getting the project closer to completion as it has seemed like for months that it was nothing but a huge, muddy mess. Wish I could tell you a date I had heard for projected completion but I have yet to hear. Maybe I can nose around this next week.

thanks for info....we are going first week of May and hoping it might be open (along with new Frozen ride, river of lights, Tiffins etc.)

I thought I read somewhere that it was ahead of schedule. Since Disney doesn't release the schedule this isn't very helpful but since Disney seems to be behind more often than ahead hopefully this will be good news for you.

So I'm a little obsessed with this for our April trip, not because it will spoil the trip if it's not or anything, just because I know DS6 will keep us in the pool A LOT so having more pool options will be a plus. I've been following every source who might know anything and although they've all apparently been sworn to silence the best reading between the lines I can get it sometime in April. I am in no way a reliable source, but there seems to be a silent consensus out there. I know I'm not helpful, but since no one else responded with a timeline, I thought I'd throw my assumptions out there.
