Poly Question

We are staying at the Poly for the first time in a week and a half. Quick question about getting to Epcot. Is there bus transportation? If we ride the monorail, would we be better off to board at the Poly or walk to the TTC? Just trying to figure out all the new security check points. If we monorail, how long should we expect it to take to get there before opening?

You will need to walk to the TTC and take the Epcot monorail. Depending on your assigned longhouse, your walk may take 10 minutes to TTC, and then allow about 30 minutes for monorail to play it safe if you're looking to make a reservation. There is no direct bus service between Poly and Epcot.

The EPCOT monorail station is closer than the Magic Kingdom loop, so just head there. There is a bus, but the monorail is faster.

I timed the trip from Epcot to TTC and it was less than 7 minutes of actual moving. I want to say it was a little more than 5 minutes, but I can't remember right off the top of my head. The walk from Poly to TTC is about 5-10 minutes, so it's not bad at all.
