We travel to WDW a few times a year an are AP holders so we tend to take leisurely trips and spend a fair amount of time at the resorts. That being said, we are die hard rope droppers. Since one of our weeks is always in aug/sep we return daily for pool time early afternoon. We alternate between AKL and BC. I am not quite sure I get the same wow factor from the Poly pools. Please tell me what you love or do not love about them. Thanks so very much.

Oasis is salt water and Lava has an awesome slide. Love the breeze we got at both pools and it’s so relaxing and tropical looking/feeling it’s my favorite by far.

How about hearing the horn from the MK train? Etc

I love watching the fireworks or Ewp, or even just listening at night while I'm on my swim .

The Hawaiian music is very relaxing too.

My favorite is seeing the castle from the lava pool.

Oh and they finally added hot tubs !

Love grabbing one of these from the Barefoot Pool Bar and enjoying the nice view...

My thoughts on all of the above :thumbsup2:thumbsup2

We didn't use the pools, but they looked really nice. We found the resort very peaceful and quiet.

We stayed in Tokelau, so the Oasis Pool was literally right in front our building. We absolutely loved it. It had a very tranquil vibe and the bartenders were awesome! The Lava pool was a lot of fun for a ride on the slide. I think the landscaping at both is beautiful, as well is the scenery of the longhouses as the backdrop.

There is no shade at the main pool. The slide and the view are really nice, though, as is the splash pad if you have young children.
