Does anyone remember the depth of either of the pools at the Poly?

I just realized (duh) that by tweeking our days a little we could get the FTP at the Poly for almost the same money as our other plans.

DH wants to know how deep the pool is:rolleyes: 6 feet, 8 feet, etc.

TIA

We were just there...I think in the Volcano Pool the deepest is 3 feet 7 inches and in the quiet pool the deepest is 8 feet.

In the volcano pool my dd who is 45 inches could go out to almost the middle without it being over her mouth. She used her water wings and went all over the volcano pool. The volcano pool has like 2-3 step area's and of course the zero entry area.

Thank You so much, He will be happy to hear about the deep pool.

Did your dd go down the slide? Is it too scary? my girls will be 4 and 5. Are they allowed to use water wings to go down the slide. Thanks for all your help, the searches are disabled and its like looking for a needle in a haystack!!

My dd is 5 and she did go down the slide alot. It is dark, but she is a dare devil with 2 brothers who are 14 and 12. She told me she couldn't wear her water wings down the slide and always took them off before she went down. She said a life guard told her that, but I didn't witness it, so I'm not sure if that was true or if she just wanted to get out of wearing them! ;)

I don't think they allow any kind of floaties or vests on the slide.

Thanks for the info!!

I will try to get them psyched up for it befor we go. I'm sure even if they don't want to use the slide, they will have a blast in that pool. Zero entry is so great for kids!!!

I don't recall what the policy is at the Polynesian but my DD has always been able to wear her swimmies at the BWVs, WL, GF and AKL without a problem while using the slide.

My dd was allowed to wear her swimmies on the slide with no problem. Thye can also use the life jackets that they have at the Polynesian.

My kids don't need them for flotation assistance, but they sure like to play with them.
