Of all the numbers that got thrown around last night, the dues number really threw me for a loop. That is a massive starting price, especially when you consider that most of the DVC resort there is populated by studios.

after thinking a little more, i suspect all of the studio buyers will be subsidizing the extra maintenance costs of the over-water buildings with their plunge pools. lucky them!

Exactly, the maintenance for an over water building with a dedicated plunge pool at each will be very high IMO.

I see a change coming to the points charts pretty quick IMO, I see the studios getting booked and the bungalows struggling to bring people in, they will have to increase the studios and drop the bungalows.

I think it was very short sighted to not do 2 BR lock-offs somewhere on property, but then again they know their clients better than I.

I can't believe how many points it will take to stay in the bungalow, and you only get one queen bed in the second bedroom.

It looks like the second bedroom has one of those fold down twin beds in it. You can see the dotted rectangle if you look closely.

Unless my math is off, 50 years of MF's growing at a low 3% (being generous) = approximately $985,000

Would you buy 50 years of vacation in a bungalow for a cool $1.2 million dollars?

Except you are not buying 50 years, you are buying one week a year for 50 years, IE not even 1 full year for 1.2 million.
