Unless I've just missed it in my two trips there, most recent being last month, I don't think the Poly has a playground. There is a water-play area, with water that shoots out of the ground, but no playground. The WL has one, I think, and maybe the GF.

Poly and GF doesn't have one. i haven't seen one there. Poly had one a long time ago before they did the pool area.

No unfortunately. We were there in Nov and I was a bit disappointed in that. We still had a wonderful stay though! :thumbsup2

No traditional playground at the Polynesian (or GF) but it does have the water play area and sand that the blurb refers to...in fact three great beaches.

There have been at least three different playgrounds over the years at the Polynesina but the latest was taken out when the volvano pool was built. When our kids were little they rarely played on the playgound for more than a few minutes. Too much fun to be had in the pools and on the beaches of the Polynesian.

That's what I thought. We visited the Poly in Jan 06 but it was at night so I don't remember seeing it. As for the beaches what fun are they if you can't go in the water?? I know the Volcano Pool is right there but Im sure there is no building sand castles in the pool right:lmao: ;)

The signs say no swimming or something to that effect. Nothing to prevent you filling up pails with water for castles. Just don't drink the water.
