Such great pics! I'm so excited as we are staying at POLY for the first time in August. I can't believe that we are finally getting to stay at our "dream" resort! Cannot wait!

Same here!! We've dreamed of staying at the Poly, but never thought it would happen....EVER! DS's are so excited to be staying so close to the Magic Kingdom and the monorail. I just can't wait to relax here and not have all the 'hustle and bustle' of the values for once!

I know what you mean! I got so excited looking at these pictures and then my reality (35 degrees in NJ) literally slaps me in the face. But I have so much fun dreaming of the Poly........6 months from today we'll be there!

I feel the same way. We stayed at BW last 2 trips.
I do enjoy being close to Epcot.

It was May 2001 and our first big Disney World family vacation. We were doing a split stay between CBR and the Grand Floridian (this trip was my DH's and DSs' first time ever to WDW and my first time ever to stay onsite), and during a trip to the Polynesian to have dinner at the Kona Cafe we decided to check out the resort to see if we'd be interested in staying there on a future trip, so after dinner we walked out the back of the resort towards the then-brand-new volcano pool and saw these views:

Right then and there, we KNEW this was the resort for us! Little did I know back then that most of my future WDW trips would be spent there!

OMG this picture almost made me cry!!!!!!!! (The magic kingdom one)

Awesome! I made my ADR's as well, but could not get into Be Our Guest. Was pretty bummed about that. Oh well, I guess I can keep trying. I'm just so excited to finally be staying at the poly......I can hardly contain myself maybe we'll bump into each other while we're there!!!
