Both resorts look spectacular, but how to decide???

Poly is on the monorail...but I've read that some are not happy there

Love the theme of WL...haven't really heard anything bad

There are 6 of us, in two rooms or a deluxe room at WL. Two children included 11 and 7.

Any thoughts?

Kim

I LOVE the Poly! It's my favorite resort!! My DH and I stayed in the Hawaii/Concierge building in September of '02. The CM's were wonderful and we never had a complaint about anything.
I've been tempted to stay at WL, although I've heard too many complaints about their transportation being so slow. I guess you wouldn't have to be concerned with that if you had your own car though.

With the two kids...have you considered a wilderness home at Fort Wilderness? The sleeping accomodations may decide yea or nay. These cabins have a bedroom with a queen bed and bunk beds...and a murphy bed in the livingroom area. When we went with our elder aunt she slept in the bedroom with the three kids (trust me, she was ok with this, but our kids are very considerate) and we slept on the murphy bed in the livingroom (very comfortable). There's only one bathroom so this isn't for everyone.
