Poly or Wilderness Lodge for One Night - Help

Hello,
I need advice. Our trip is from 12/8 to 12/13. We are staying in a one bedroom at the Bay Lake. Our last night, 12/12 to 12/13, does not have availabilty in a Standard View room, only a Lake View or Theme park view. Since we are going to have to change rooms anyway I was thinking of saving some money and staying our last night in either the Wilderness Lodge or a Poly Studio. They are both approx. the same price (much cheaper than Bay Lake as they would be under the Fall Sale 25% Off deal). Would you recommend one over the other? I don't know why this decision seems so hard. Also, would you trust Disney staff to move the lugguge from resort to resort or just do it yourself.

Of the two, I would pick Poly. Though they are working on the quiet pool there, it doesn't appear the construction will be as extensive as what they are about to embark on at WL. Honestly, if you have to change rooms anyway and you've already stayed on the monorail, I would switch over to an EP resort, BC, YC or BWI. They are all fantastic and will be a complete change of atmosphere!

We have always used Disney Bell Services to move our luggage and have never had an issue. Just know, you won't be able to get your luggage until late afternoon at your new resort if you have them transport it for you.

I favor the Polynesian as well, although, during the Christmas season the WL really shines, the decorations are absolutely gorgeous!

My gut says go with the Poly on the basis that it's usually the more expensive resort. However, for the holidays, you can't beat the WL.

Plus, I'm really not a fan of the new Poly lobby. A lot less crowded, but no atmosphere.
