Poly or Universal for 11/26 & 11/27?

We have reservations at the Poly for 11/25 - 12/3/05. Because Sat. & Sun. after Thanksgiving will be so crowded, I am thinking of staying at a US resort to use the FOTL pass. Then we would move over to the Poly on Sun. night. We always spend one day at US and one day at IOA anyway. Did anyone out there try this last year? How did it work out? We really try to avoid long lines at the parks. Were you able to keep wait times fairly short?
