We have stayed at both several times. Both are comparable. Both have their fans. Neither is "better".It's just me and my wife for 3 nights in a studio. We've never stayed at either what would you suggest?
Are they both "Deluxe" Studios, or is the VGF a "Resort" Studio? I would choose a VGF Deluxe Studio over a Poly Studio, but I think a Poly Studio trumps a VGF Resort Studio. It's just me and my wife for 3 nights in a studio. We've never stayed at either what would you suggest?
It is a GFV resort studio.I'm guessing they are smaller than the poly? Are they both "Deluxe" Studios, or is the VGF a "Resort" Studio? I would choose a VGF Deluxe Studio over a Poly Studio, but I think a Poly Studio trumps a VGF Resort Studio.
They don't have a kitchenette. They don't have a split bath. They have 2 real queen size beds (if that's a consideration) and the "sofa" doesn't face the TV. They're basically a hotel room.It is a GFV resort studio.I'm guessing they are smaller than the poly?
The decision has been made and the winner is Poly. We've never stayed at either but always liked the vibe at Poly over VGF. But the restaurants (Narcoosees, Citricos and of course V&A) are the trifecta...Even if V&A's isn't open. This is tough but give me to October and I can give you personal experience on both resorts. I just book the VGF Resort Lagoon View Studio for early August. Then in late September I will in a Poly lake View Studio.
The Poly Studios look fantastic, especially the spilt bathroom with 2 showers. And I can’t wait to sit on the balcony and watch the fireworks.
But, I love VGF too. I think the Resort Studio looks absolutely beautiful. I will only be there for 4 nights and the only thing I need is the Kerurig and the cooler. The location of the building is a plus.
Both DVC are part of a really large resort. Both resorts are a drawn for folks not staying there. But location on the monorail and lakes are such a great perk.
Good luck with your decision.![]()
You can’t go wrong with either one. Poly - Kona Cafe, Capt Cooks and Ohana’s. Poly has a much more casual vibe… more shade. Lush gardens. And you can just hop the monorail or walk over to GF.The decision has been made and the winner is Poly. We've never stayed at either but always liked the vibe at Poly over VGF. Yup, it's a mere 10-15 minute (brisk vs. stroll) walk. Lovely to do for 'Ohana breakfast and on to ropedrop the MK.You can easily walk your luggage over to the other resort or Disney moves it over for you.
