Poly or GF

Really wanting to go to the Poly, but I am holding out for a code... I am okay with not getting my first choice of resort. I just have a list ready when I call and I always end up happy.... I am thinking of putting GF in my #2 spot. We have never stayed there....How do these resorts compare?

As a child, we always stayed at the poly. Two years ago, w/my family now we went and it was lovely. Got upgraded to a Lagoon view, and really felt like we were on vacation in a tropical island. When you are there, you feel like you are on vacation.

Last year we went to the GF for our 10th anniv. vacation, and when vacation rolled around this year asked DH where he would like to stay, he said the GF again....over the POLY. He loved the feel of the GF, plus my parents are coming with us and they always wanted to stay there. We got a surprise cake left in our room last year, and had a beautiful dormer room w/a view of the castle and saw Wishes everynight from our balcony. The girls loved the turndown service, and the pools as well. I don't find it as stuffy as everyone says...after all this is Disney.

Probably not much help to you, but I would say that whichever you pick, you won't be disappointed.

IMHO Poly is really good, but GF is fabulous. I know there are a lot of die hard Poly fans here but we just love the GF.
