Can I get your opinions please?

I have ressies at the Poly for Jan. 06 (for the marathon). I love the Poly and have no problems staying there. Chose it, in part, because it's on the monorail route and will make getting to the start line a little easier than the buses (or so I've heard).

Now I see that the Poly is undergoing renovations.. So, what all will be affected? Should I keep the Poly or try to switch over to BoardWalk Inn?

Will I be able to walk from BW to the start area (Epcot parking lot)?

Thanks for your help!

Terri

Hi!

The renovations at the Polynesian are going to take place one longhouse at a time, so you won't be affected at all. Stick to your ressies and ENJOY!

we stayed BWI for Marathon '05 and YOU CAN NOT walk to the start from BWI--took the bus which was no problem (except the early wake up call to be on it by 4am!!) You can walk thru EPCOT after the marathon (if you have your park pass w/ you) to get back to your room. We found this to be convienent -- helped to get rid of some of the lactic acid build up and we also got to cheer for the runners as we passed them running their last miles! :rotfl:
Just signed up to run the '06 Marathon and trying to decided where to stay and I can't get away from the EPCOT resorts so it will probably be Yacht club this time. Love BWI, just trying something different.
